About the Founder
Aylin Nazlıcan, born and raised in Germany, completed her Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies at the University of Cologne. During her education, she worked at a communications agency in Düsseldorf, where her career in PR started. After graduating, she moved to London where she obtained her Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Kingston University.
Right after completing her education, Aylin worked at leading global PR agencies in London such as Weber Shandwick, Hill + Knowlton, and Lewis Global Communications, managing communication campaigns for clients from various industries. Following her agency experience she worked at a Silicon Valley tech startup as PR Manager in EMEA. With experience in both local and global projects, Aylin has worked on integrated PR campaigns, coordinated global PR teams, managed content and campaign localisations, and handled media relations and content development. She is fluent in German, English and Turkish.
Aylin founded Friends in PR to connect global players to Türkiye and projects to the right experts through a broad network in order to gather necessary resources efficiently and in a straightforward manner.
